What QCPD Found on the Phone and Laptop of the Missing Bride-to-Be
She was allegedly dealing with personal dilemmas in the days leading up to her disappearance.

(SPOT.ph) Since news broke about a bride-to-be going missing in Quezon City, speculation has been swirling on social media—ranging from claims that she may have run away or have met an accident. Police have now released what they found during a forensic examination of her devices, offering some answers based on the digital trail.
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), a forensic review of the phone and laptop belonging to Sherra de Juan revealed she had been dealing with personal dilemmas in the period leading up to her disappearance. Data from her devices allegedly show “emotional distress and financial problems,” which QCPD has linked to two specific circumstances: her father’s medical condition and the expenses tied to her forthcoming wedding.
The QCPD also bared some of de Juan's private chat messages, which led them to suspect that she might have left on her own. Both messages were sent to her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, on the morning of October 30.

“Sige po, looks like nawalan Ka na din ng gana. Pasensya na po. Di Ko alam pasensya kana these past few weeks pansin mo sobrang clingy Ko sayo kase Di Lang sa wedding ako na to torn. I’m actually struggling internally para akong sasabog Di Ko ma explain Pero nagkikita Ko presence mo. napupuno ako ng hope I don’t know siguro sa daming nangyayare na o overwhelmed ako. Gusto Ko Sana kase mag focus lang sa ating dalawa pero laging nahahati and it makes me sick talaga pero Kaya to”
Online activity from her laptop also included searches about medications that could cause death, the effects of overdosing on certain substances, and similar topics.
As such, no foul play is being considered for now, but the QCPD stressed that these findings are still part of an ongoing investigation. Authorities are handling the case with “utmost seriousness and sensitivity” as they continue to coordinate with De Juan’s family, concerned police units, and other relevant agencies.

Where is Sherra de Juan?
Following the release of these findings, de Juan's father pushed back on claims that his health issues caused financial strain for his daughter. He told TV Patrol that while he has a kidney condition and other past health concerns, his checkups and medications are covered because he is a senior citizen.
He also rejected claims that de Juan was under financial pressure due to wedding costs, saying the expenses had already been long settled before she disappeared.
“Sana po ayusin niyo naman po ang mga comment ninyo... Masakit din sa amin kasi 'yung mga sinasabi ninyo walang katotohanan kasi hindi ninyo alam yung pangyayari,” he said, stressing that insinuations against his future son-in-law are untrue.
On December 10, de Juan left home to buy shoes for her wedding on December 14. She was last seen at around 1:30 p.m. that day at a Petron gas station along Commonwealth Avenue in North Fairview, Quezon City. CCTV footage showed her wearing a black jacket, black shirt, and black pants. She left her cellphone at home to charge, which is why she could not be contacted after she failed to return.
She has not been located since.
Anyone who may have seen de Juan or knows her whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station immediately. The P150,000 reward remains in place for information that could help locate her.
