Bookworms, Here's How You Can Score a Free Book From NBS

(SPOT.ph) Free things are hard to come by these days, if at all. A free book? There's no chance. Is there? National Book Store says there is. They're giving all bookworms in the Metro a chance to score a free book from them this summer, and all you have to do is pen them a heartfelt, handwritten letter and drop them off in some stores nationwide. It's just in time for World Book Day!

Called Dear National, this raffle promo had its first run in March, and now they're here for a second round, a.k.a another chance for those who missed it the first time. For this round, the promo will run until May 31.

First things first, you have to be a Laking National member to be able to join this raffle. If you're not a member yet, you could easily sign up online. Don't worry, it's completely free.

Next, the letter. It should be on A4 or letter-size paper, and must answer this question: What book do you want to win? Be it the limited or illustrated editions of your favorite titles, or books with those beautiful sprayed edges, or "spredges." Whatever title your heart desires, National Book Store could be your fairy godmother and make your wish come true.

Once you've poured your heart out, don't forget to sign off. Your letter submission should have your complete name, e-mail address, home address, mobile number, and Laking National account number with your desired book's complete details. We mean the complete title, ISBN number (which can be found on the back of the copy), and its price. We want to be as specific as possible.

Seal your letter inside an envelope and write "Dear National" on the back. Last but not least, drop your entries at over 53 participating National Book Store branches. Here's a full list below:

There's no limit to how many letters you can submit, though it would depend on how long your fingers can last writing all of them by hand. Here are a few things to remember: there can only be one book per letter; your chosen book must be available at the branch where you dropped your letter; and it should have a price of P1,999 or lower. There can only be one (1) winner per branch.
