While the Philippines doesn’t have spring, that doesn’t mean the season’s releases should be set aside. As always, the Hippers come as a blind box (P599), so you won’t know what you’re getting until you tear that packaging open and reveal the contents. There’s always a secret, but we’d be happy to get any one out of the six regular designs from the series.

Singaporean footwear brand Sunday Staples has just landed in Manila, bringing with it dainty pairs that elevate outfits sans the foot pain. Each silhouette is as timeless as the next, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes the new go-to brand for daily wear, events, and especially bridal moments. We’re loving the versatile strappy heels, lace and embroidered sheer flats, and contemporary Mary Janes, but we have to mention their besteller–the Florisse (P2,980)–which features a low, comfy heel, flattering straps, and a darling floral applique sitting pretty on your foot.

Acquiring viral tote bags is not new to the Filipino with plenty of stuff to carry around, but if you’re looking for something different with a touch of local flair, then the Tondo Jojo Tote Bag (P695) from Team Manila is check-out worthy. It looks just like the international edition with the contrasting bottom panel, thick straps, and embroidery, except this version features fried rice, pulutan, and even a bottle of alcohol! It’ll be sure to garner double-takes when you’re out and about.

Victoria’s Secret innerwear is a go-to for many folks, but have you stopped to look at their range of pajamas? They’re available in different designs, materials, and lengths so you can catch a good night’s sleep regardless of your preference. It’s pretty hot as of late, so we’re recommending the Heritage Cotton Short Pajama Set (P3,698) in this darling Angel Pink hue.

Everyday jewelry that can match any outfit is great, but some days and events demand more vibrant pieces that can pack a punch and speak on its own. Local brand Tropik Beatnik specializes in unique jewelry that does all the talking. Their catalog is filled with handmade clay designs and beaded numbers, so you won’t run out of options trying to choose one (or two) pieces home. If we had to recommend something, it’s definitely their Mismatched Tropikal Prutas Drop earrings (P1,200). They might be bigger and more colorful than your usual pair, but trust us when we say they’re worth having.

Fruits just hit different during summer and local cosmetics brand Issy Cosmestics would agree. Their latest edition of their Creme Juice Stick (P449) is inspired by the juiciest fruits, and melts into the skin for that subtle glow that can be built up for a bolder look. Its official product name says it’s a blush, but you can definitely use it on lips and eyes for a nice dusting of color. All the shades are versatile and can bring the warmth back to your face, but we’re biased for Warm Watermelon–a rich red that will sit well on sunkissed skin.
