Ballet sneakers are here to stay and it's time to add another one to your collection: the Converse Run Star Trainer Ballet Flats. Borrowing the classic Run Star Hike's edgy and elevated sole, the Ballet Flat edition still looks a Converse release with a touch of dainty. The durable canvas upper has a wide opening with a singular band running across like the classic Mary Jane so all you have to do is slip in and out of the shoe. Of course, the signature Star Chevron and Converse logo on embroidered on the side. And hey, if you're still clinging to your sneakers with a refusal to wear flats, maybe this pair will convince you that a deviation from your laced pairs isn't so bad.

Stay dry from light drizzle without sacrificing flair with a swanky jacket from—get this—Max's Restaurant. They might not be top of mind when thinking of cool outerwear to score, but the homegrown chicken joint actually knocked it out of the park with their rain jackets featuring a retro illustration at the back, an inner lining that calls back to their tabletop print, two large pockets, and button closures.
