Here's What You Need to Know About the Upcoming Enchanted Kingdom Ride Closures:
As Enchanted Kingdom hits its big 3-0, they're saying goodbye for now to Space Shuttle's 30-year-old twists and turns, and Agila the Experience's almost 20-year-old flying adventures. From July 1 to September 30, Enchanted Kingdom will be renovating these two big kiddie faves in time for their 30th anniversary this October.
In a post on their social media pages, they emphasized that the closure is only temporary and that we will be treated to a new Space Shuttle Mission and an enhanced Agila Eksperience later on. The park further clarified that while their initial plan is to complete the renovation by the end of September, this is still subject to change. Meaning, we might be able to experience the all-new theater sooner than September 30th or later, but we're keeping our fingers crossed it will be the former.

Before you completely cross out a visit to EK during renovation season, just know that other rides, including newest attraction, EKlipse, their indoor activities, and other Enchanted Kingdom classics like the Rio Grande Rapids, Jungle Log Jam, and many more, will still be up and running. So it's not a complete loss if you can't make it to the park before July 1st. But if Agila the Eksperience and Space Shuttle are your park faves then it's time to schedule that trip to Sta. Rosa, stat!
