Mark Your Calendars: Southeast Asia's Biggest Game Convention Is Coming Up

(SPOT.ph) Board game lovers, clear your schedules. Southeast Asia's biggest board game convention, All Aboard Expo, is returning this May. Whether you’re a seasoned RPG player or a casual fan who enjoys the occasional game nights with friends, this is the perfect excuse to find your next great obsession. Check out what's in store.

From May 28 to 31, Gaming Library is teaming up with the Quezon City Government to turn the city into the ultimate tabletop gaming playground.

All Aboard Expo 2026 is set to bring together a growing community of passionate gamers, local and international publishers, and a roster of special guests to celebrate the world of tabletop gaming.

Curious newcomers or anyone looking for new titles can browse over 100 games available at the participating booths. Keep an eye out for new board games being launched at the expo, including localized drops like Modern Art PH, Sinigang, and Kalikasan. If you’re keen on event-specific merch, you can also pick up exclusive, limited-edition promo cards and tiles.

Aside from splurging on the latest games for your next barkada gatherings, there are also events to look forward to at the expo. There are challenges with exclusive collectible pins, tournaments, workshops, and free-play areas where you can dive into a new game on the spot. All Aboard Expo also features a lineup of game designers, publishers, and industry icons, such as Tom Vasel, Maeva da Silva, and Rob Daviau.

If you’re ready to roll the dice, registration is already open via the Gaming Library website, with tickets ranging from P150 to P5,500. Regular admission or Binturong Pass (P150) gives you access to a wide variety of board games, demos, tournaments, and free-play areas. Themed VIP passes (Haribon, Adarna, and Bakunawa) come loaded with multi-day access, exclusive gear, achievement pins, lounge access, and even priority slots for guest signings.

Here's a special treat: if you're a QCitizen, you won't even have to pay for a ticket. Just remember to bring a valid ID with your address or proof of residency to claim your pass. Children aged 12 and below can also enter for free with the Tarsier Junior Pass. (You’ll still need to “buy” your free slot online, though.)
