(SPOT.ph) You might have seen the long lines around some malls the past few days and wondered, "What the heck are they lining up for?" Of course, it's to get first dibs on Apple's latest phones from the iPhone 17 Series. Yep, it's that time of the year again; the day the new iPhone lineup becomes available to the public. The SPOT.ph team got an up-close, first look at the units at Power Mac Center's midnight launch, and we're here to share what we we saw.

Power Mac Center hosted several midnight launches around the country last night alongside other Apple premium retailers. Two out of 43 were their top venues, in Greenbelt 3 and SM Mall of Asia, where various guest artists dropped by. There were programs and special perks on-site, too. Take, for example, P30,000 worth of free accessories as well as discounts on select iPhone cases, screen protectors, and Apple premium accessories. The remaining 41 stores also opened at midnight on October 17, allowing hundreds of Apple fans to bring home their new devices ASAP.

The iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and Pro Max are equipped with the A19 Pro chip. The lineup is said to be the iPhone series with the highest performance ever. When it comes to the camera, all units in the 17 series have a 48MP Fusion Main camera—albeit in different systems. They all have the 18MP Center Stage front camera, too.

Center Stage is another one of the major features in this series. It's the first square front camera sensor on an iPhone. Of course, there's also the new iOS 26 with not just a fresh new look (that will go well with your fresh new phone) and more outstanding Apple Intelligence features.

The iPhone 17 comes in five colors: Lavender, Sage, Mist Blue, White, and Black.

The iPhone Air, on the other hand, is available in Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White, and Space Black.

The iPhone 17 Pro is available in Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue colorways.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max has the same colors as the Pro, but its storage goes up to 2TB.
