iPhone 16 Series Is Now Available in the PH

(SPOT.ph) It’s finally here. What do we mean, you ask? Surely we don't mean Christmas, right? But close, for avid Apple enthusiasts, at least—because the public launch of the latest iteration of the brand's world-famous smartphone is here. SPOT.ph got a first look of the iPhone 16 series lineup up close at Power Mac Center's midnight launch at Greenbelt, and of course, we’re sharing all the details and photos with you.

Power Mac Center had several midnight launches in and around the Metro that a lot of people lined up for. One person even started queueing up on the 15th and came all the way from Batangas. The launch locations, all on October 18, were in Greenbelt 3, SM Mall of Asia,  and, for the first time ever, Robinsons Galleria in Cebu and SM Lanang in Davao.

Here's your first look at the iPhone 16 series:

Granted, you may have already known what the phone looks like from the number of times you've seen it in your timelines or through your countless hours of research (that is if you're planning on getting one)—but nothing beats seeing what it actually looks like. And no, not just the product or lifestyle images but how it truly measures up in person. We got you. 

The iPhone 16 series' standout feature is arguably the Camera Control, a slider on the side that allows you to access the camera and adjust various features with just a slide of a finger. Not to mention that it has the largest iPhone displays to date for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. And oh, did we mention that they're putting AI, err "Apple Intelligence" in the spotlight?

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be available in Teal, Pink, Ultramarine, Black, and White, while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be available in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Desert Titanium. The iPhone 16 to iPhone 16 Pro is available from 128 GB, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at 256GB capacity.

According to the Apple PH website, the price for the iPhone 16 series starts at P54,990.

How to get the iPhone 16?

The iPhone 16 series is available via all premium Apple retailers starting October 18. If you haven't pre-ordered the phone, expect a long queue (or you're already in line) maybe even before the branch or malls open to get first dibs. We should also reiterate that these units fly off the shelves quickly, so you better have your most preferred unit, color, and storage capacity memorized by heart. Prepare backup choices just in case things don't work out.
