Cookie Shots Now Available in Manila

Cookies you can actually fill with milk? Get it first at Cookie Bar Manila.

(SPOT.ph) It looks like Cookie Bar Manila is the first in the Philippines to replicate Dominique Ansel’s (of Cronut fame) Cookie Shot Glasses: shot-glass-shaped cookies that you can fill with milk. No dish-washing is necessary for this winning childhood combination.

Our inner child is squealing in excitement.

Cookie Bar Manila is a home-based business by Ivorie Acosta. They specialize in cookie cups and filled cookies. Hot on the heels of Ansel who only released his creation a week ago, their glasses are classic chocolate chip with a chocolate lining to keep the milk from soaking through. Cookie Bar Manila, however, dutifully gives credit to the New York-based baker, calling his idea "brilliant" and thanking him for the inspiration.

Prices are yet to be announced. Cookie Bar Manila orders may be coursed through www.speedregalo.com.ph. However, the Cookie Shots are only available for pick-up at their Kapitolyo base. A box of eight is P320.

Cookie Bar Manila is at Kapitolyo, Pasig City, open from Tuesday to Sunday. Contact 984-7450. Visit their website, http://www.ilovecookies.net.
