After a long hiatus since it first hit our shores in the 90s, Domino’s Pizza is back with a bang in Manila with both new and familiar dishes you can have delivered within 30 minutes (or you get your money back, they guarantee).
"We haven’t really localized the product," says Domino’s Philippines President and CEO Tong Hong, "but what we have is different flavors from different countries." For instance, the wedge-topped Potato Pizza is from Korea, the nine-topping-heavy Extravaganza is from the U.S., and the classic Margherita is from Japan.
Aside from pizza, Domino’s offers Buffalo Chicken Wings, Meaty Bolognese, Creamy Alfredo Spaghetti and Chocolate Lava Cake, among others.
Domino’s has one branch open in Pasong Tamo that services the Makati area, and the second branch in Tiendesitas is expected to open soon. Hong says the pizza chain aims to "open five to eight stores around Metro Manila this year. We want to get to 100 stores by our 10th year of operation in the Philippines."
