The race to get one of the most coveted 2012 planners is on.
Christmas comes early at Starbucks. Click for more.
(SPOT.ph) The holidays come early at Starbucks-starting November 3, the chain’s coffee cups will sport a crimson color, new drinks and pastries will be served at all Starbucks outposts in Manila, and the race to get the 2012 planners begins.
The 2012 planners, smaller and more handy than the previous ones, come in five unique covers echoing Starbucks’ Shared Planet theme: the planners have covers made of wood and come in five earthy shades (poplar, bamboo, cherry, spruce and oak) while the inside pages are made from 70% recycled paper. Each planner comes with a pouch, a bookmark and nine coupons which may be redeemed at all Starbucks outlets.
How to get the planners this year? Starbucks gives caffeine addicts two options: collect nine stickers from Christmas beverages plus eight stickers from core drinks (a total of 17 stickers) or go for your fave regular brews and collect 23 stickers from ordering their core drinks. Starbucks makes a donation to Spark Hope, a flagship program for early childhood care and development, for every redeemed planner.
A new Christmas beverage, Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha, joins old favorites Peppermint Mocha and Toffee Nut Latte on the holiday drink list. Pair them with pastries, sandwiches, wraps and cakes that make coffee runs much more festive: the Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake is an indulgent slice of cookie and chocolate goodness, while the merienda-perfect Texas BBQ Wrap is filled with smoky and spicy flavors from grilled chicken breast, Texas-style salsa and cheese. All the Christmas beverages and the holiday pastries will be available until January 8, 2012.
