Catch FOODJECTS: Design and the New Cuisine in Spain, until February 1

Gorgeously functional!

 

(SPOT.ph) The Embassy of Spain in the Philippines and Instituto Cervantes de Manila launched on January 15 an exhibit tracing the evolution of Spanish cuisine and showcasing innovative, gorgeously designed kitchenware curated by Spanish designer Martín Azúa. FOODJECTS: Design and the New Cuisine in Spain features objects by designers and chefs like Ferran Adrià, Patricia Urquiola, Curro Claret, and Javier Mariscal that are undoubtedly beautiful but also ingenious in their functionality, helping nurture a better appreciation of textures, flavors, and aromas.

 

The exhibit runs until February 1 at Enderun Colleges in McKinley Hill, Taguig. Coinciding with the exhibit are master classes by Juan Carlos de Terry of Terry Selection, Oscar García of Bodegas Hidalgo, and Jordi Martinez of Barcino.
