Trend forecasts for 2014 fashion showcased at Manila Wear starting October 17
Get a first look at the hottest in tropical and resort wear at Manila FAME’s Manila Wear.
(SPOT.ph) This October, Manila Wear becomes the capital of all things fashionably Filipino. As a special feature of Manila FAME-an annual lifestyle and design exposition in Southeast Asia that has helped the careers of designers like Ito Kish and Kenneth Cobonpue-Manila Wear gathers the country's fashion stalwarts, unveiling their forecasts for next year's resort wear trend. Internationally admired fashion designer Josie Natori worked with a select group of designers who will be exhibiting their collection during Manila FAME's four-day run.

Featured designers include JC Buendia, Happy Andrada, Carissa Cruz-Evangelista, Amina Aranaz-Alunan, Lally Cruz-Dizon, Adante Layesa, Arnel Papa, Joyce Makitalo, Nicole Whisenhunt and Joel Escober. Their designs for fashion and accessories highlight regional craftsmanship.

Manila Wear will also feature editorial pieces by sculptor Jinggoy Buensuceso, textile artist Olivia d'Aboville, contemporary artist Leeroy New, photographer Wawi Navarroza, paper artist Wataru Sakuma, and young fashion designers Eric delos Santos, Twinkle Ferraren, Vania Rommof, Veejay Floresca and Tipay Caintic.
