CHECK IT OUT: Vinyl on Vinyl Moves to Chino Roces
In true go-big-or-go-home spirit, they have three inaugural shows happening at once
(SPOT.ph) Vinyl on Vinyl (VOV for the hip kids) officially bid The Collective goodbye on Wednesday night, settling in their "new nest" at Chino Roces (otherwise known as Pasong Tamo). The new gallery is twice as big as the charming red room on Malugay, which translates to more space to move and more space for art.
As proof, three shows were held simultaneously on August 27: Extended Play, Bulbforms and Cryptograms, and Sehnsucht (by Iyan de Jesusand Anjo Bolarda on the upper floor).
Works by Romeo Lee, Mark Salvatus, Elmer Borlongan, MM Yu, and the Everywhere We Shoot duo were featured in Extended Play, along with (deep breath): LJ Abiola, Kris Abrigo, Dennis Bato, Dex Fernandez, Miguel Buhay, Froilan Calayag, Mariano Ching, Jood Clarino, Mideo Cruz, Igan D'Bayan, Kawayan De Guia, Beejay Esber, Kiko Escora, Mark Andy Garcia, Edric Go, Martin Honasan, Godhand, Dave Lock, Luis Lorenzana, Mall, Pow Martinez, Mayi, Redgen, Mulingtapang, Raffy Napay, Manuel Ocampo, Neil Pasilan, Tokwa Peñaflorida, Ren Quinio, Roberto Sanchez, Luis Santos, Soler Santos, Yasmin Sison, Gerry Tan, and Whoop.
Extended Play, art on vinyl. We see what you did there.

A little room of records
Occupying most of the floor were Iya Consorio’s works. How she made time for all the art she produced for her solo show, we would like to know.
We’re digging the octopus and skull mash-up
We don’t know what this is, but it’s really pretty.
All the art with room to spare
Make the trek because there’s plenty to see at the new VOV. The current shows run until September 10.
Vinyl on Vinyl is now at 2/F, Warehouse II, 2135, Chino Roces Avenue (formerly Pasong Tamo), Makati City. Visit their website for more details.
