Star Wars...with Orchestral Music at Ayala Museum
It's Soundtracks and Symphonies on April 23
(SPOT.ph) After pitting Bach against The Beatles (spoilers: the audience won), The Rush Hour Program is back and they brought reinforcements—in the form of Stormtroopers, wizards, and...uh, Orcs. Prepare for a wicked case of LSS when you hear the "Imperial March" played with strings by the Manila Symphony Orchestra under Proferssor Arturo Molina's command.
If you weren't, ahem, cool enough to get the references, the orchestra will be playing selections from Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones along with classical pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Ayala Museum ground floor lobby on April 23.
Who knows, you might find that you came to geek out, but you stayed for the Austrian wunderkind and the crazy brilliance of the German with wild hair.
