From Offline to Online: Art Fair PH Organizers Showcase Filipino Art Via Instagram
It runs from November 12 to December 6.

(SPOT.ph) From the women behind Art Fair Philippines and Art in the Park comes another exciting art project: Uncrating O2O. This highlights the shift in how we consume art in the context of a pandemic: from offline to online. It runs from November 12 to December 6 through o2oart on Instagram and at The Gallery at Greenbelt 5.

Uncrating O2O presents two exhibits for its first edition. The first is a collection of works by 45 artists from from Tin-Aw Art Management, while the second is a rare glimpse into the works of Filipino street artist Egg Fiasco. The works are staged with the use of crates, which are designed by theater director and scenographer Ed Lacson, Jr. This kind of mounting reflects the unusual times we live in, where things have become more temporary and nomadic.
"The whole concept is exciting—that we can mount an art event that can be appreciated both offline and online. We also made sure that however one chooses to view the shows, you’d encounter something fresh. The physical installation using crates as the backdrop looks very good, if I may say so. The art work too, of course. It also perfectly ties in with our aim for our other events— widening the audience for the visual arts in a way that suits the times," says Trickie Lopa in a short exchange with SPOT.ph.
Uncrating O2O runs from November 12 to December 6 through Instagram account (@o2oart) and The Gallery at Greenbelt 5, Greenbelt Drive, Ayala Center, Makati City.
