Purveyr Fair Style: When Bazaar Turns Into Fashion Runway

(SPOT.ph) Want to see how people dress now? Well, you should have come to at least one of the two days of the past weekend's Purveyr Fair at Metro Tent. Because you would have seen it for yourself, and concluded there's a lot of creativity and confidence going on out there at the moment. And in an era where a major buzzword is "inclusivity", it looks like "how we dress now" is embracing of a variety of looks and expressions of individuality, of trends and references.

The Purveyr Fair was a gathering of some of the most creative Filipino entrepreneurs of the hour, selling clothing, accessories, and a bunch of other merch. It's like Maarte, or Artefino, but cooler and with less piña, and the shoppers and sellers come out not only to shop and sell but also to flaunt their personal style—from vintage and tailored to crafty and creative to sexy and chic. The sight of this "real life runway" should be enough to inspire you to not just blindly pick out some old thing from your closet the next time there's an opportunity to be a peacock. It should spark a desire to live out loud—starting with your clothes.
