SIX, the Musical Manila Announces Full Cast Line Up

(SPOT.ph) If you're a musical theater fan or just a sucker for all the Tudor-era tea, you'd know by now that  SIX, the Musical is coming to Manila this October. This modern pop musical is the HER-story of the six wives of Henry VIII. And today, we can finally put faces to the royal titles as the full cast has just been announced for the Manila run of SIX, the Musical. Check out their names and bow down to your queens!

Here are the cast members for SIX, the Musical Manila 2024:

ICDYK, SIX tells the story of the six wives of King Henry VIII who reclaim their own narratives by stepping out of the shadow of their infamous husband.  Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the multi-awarded musical brings these historical figures to life, portraying them as fierce and influential pop stars in their own right.

The Manila production is set for a limited run at the Theater at Solaire from October 4 to 20.  The women set to bring the musical to life for Philippine audiences are:

Biller Kerr as Catherine of Aragon

Kerr is no stranger to SIX, the Musical.  She previously played Jane Seymour in the Bliss Cruise Production of SIX, the Musical from November 2023 until she left the show this February. Aside from playing Aragon in the Manila run, she is also slated to perform the same role on the UK & International Tour of SIX, the Musical from 2024 to 2025.

Yna Tresvalles as Anne Boleyn

Tresvalles is an American singer and actor who played Arachne in the world premiere of God Catcher at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe. She is also a two-time nominee for Outstanding Actress at the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards.

Liberty Stottor as Jane Seymour

Stottor studied Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at The Urdang Academy. Prior to being cast as Jane Seymour in SIX, the Musical, she also performed in pantomime productions of Jack and the Bean Stalk and made her professional debut as a lead vocalist in the UK Tour of Adam Garcia's Emerald Storm.

Hannah Victoria as Anne of Cleves

Hannah Victoria is a graduate of the Musical Theatre program at Edge Hill University in the UK. She was cast in the role of Gloria in Madagascar the Musical, and in the same year, she was a vocalist on the Black Magic: The Little Mix Show tour. During her time training at Edge Hill University in Musical Theatre, Hannah played Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act along with Celie in The Color Purple, and afterward, she booked her first professional role as Gerda in a UK Tour of Snow Queen.

Lizzie Emery as Katherine Howard

Emery is also no stranger to the theater. She made her professional stage debut in 2018, playing Mimi in RENT. She also opened in Beauty and the Beast at Horsham’s The Capitol Theatre, playing Belle alongside big wigs as Chris Jenkins who played The Beast/Prince and John Partridge who played Captain Gastoff. 

Eloise Lord as Catherine Parr

Another SIX, the Musical alum making a comeback is Eloise "Ellie" Lord. Lord also played Catherine Parr in a Breakaway Cruise Production of SIX, the Musical from August 2023 until January 2024.

Performing as alternates during the 16-day run will be Izzy Formby-Jackson, Lorren Santo-Quinn, Erin Summerhayes, and Milly Willows.

GMG Productions’ CEO Carlos Candal shared his excitement regarding the cast in a statement to the media: “We know fans have been eagerly waiting for this moment, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome the new SIX queens to Manila. Filipinos will be thrilled to see them take the stage with unmatched energy, talent, and passion to tell this extraordinary story.”

SIX, the Musical premiered in 2017 at the Edinburg Fringe Festival. It has since been adapted to both The West End and Broadway, claiming multiple accolades and nods from theater groups across the globe, including Best Original Score and Best Costume Design in a Musical in the 2022 Tony Awards.
