Tickets to the Rico Blanco Musical Are Now on Sale

(SPOT.ph) It wasn't long ago when we first got wind of an upcoming Rico Blanco musical in March 2025. While March is still a few months away, you don't have to wait to score your tickets to this all-original show.
Consider this your PSA, theater bugs! You can now get tickets online to Liwanag sa Dilim, a Rico Blanco musical.

Here's where to get tickets to Liwanag sa Dilim, a Rico Blanco musical:
Although little is known about the musical at the moment, many are already excited at the prospect of Blanco's heartbreakingly cathartic pieces being performed in an original production. So much so that as early as December 2024, tickets are already available for purchase on the online platform Ticket2Me.
Liwanag sa Dilim will be staged at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium at the RCBC Plaza. Based on the tickets available on the reservation platform, the new musical's opening night is slated for March 7. It will run from Friday through Sunday until April 13. Throughout its run, there will be one show every Friday scheduled at 8 p.m. and two performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. and another at 8 p.m.
Tickets for Liwanag sa Dilim start at P2,200 and can go as high as P3,900, excluding fees and surcharges.

Announced in September 2024, Liwanag sa Dilim is an all-new original musical featuring the songs of Rico Blanco, Rivermaya's chief songwriter and eventual frontman. The musical is written and directed by Robbie Guevara and produced by 9 Works Theatrical—the same folks who brought us RENT, Once on This Island, and the APO Hiking Society musical Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!.
