Wicked Manila extends theatrical run yet again

(SPOT.ph) When Lunchbox Theatrical Productions announced in January that Wicked's run in ManilaĀ was extended for another week, many were delighted. The best seats were immediately bought online for the opening night on February 2 and gala night on February 8.

Now, Ozians would be happy to know that Globe Live extends Wicked's stay in the Philippines yet again! Instead of closing the season on March 8, the musical phenomenon continues to play at The Theatre at Solaire in ParaƱaque City until March 19. Performance times are at 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on weekends.

Wicked, one of the longest running musicals in Broadway, follows the unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery studentsāpopular girl Glinda (Carly Anderson) and green-skinned girl Elphaba (Jacqueline Hughes).
