Your artist dreams might just come true in France
This could be your lucky break.
(SPOT.ph) France has always been known as one of the leading countries when it comes to the arts. Who doesn't know the impressionist painter Claude Monet, fauvist artist Henri Matisse, and architect Gustave Eiffel? Filipino artists now have a chance to study in this region and follow the steps of the world's most prolific creators.
The Alliance Française de Manille, the Embassy of France to the Philippines, Centre Intermondes, and 1335 Mabini Gallery have announced a call for applications for the Philippine Artist Residency Program. This is composed of a structured visit to France by any visual artist, including painters, sculptors, installation artists, multimedia artists, photographers, and new media artists.
Application period is until April 30. The chosen candidate will be announced in May 2017, and will be covered for airfare, per diem, visa fees, accommodation, exhibition, and materials courtesy of the organizers.
To download the application form, visit Alliance Française de Manille's website. Applications should be addressed to PARP 2017, Tof Zapanta through email@example.com.
