Coffee in your porkchops? Figaro launches new heavyweight dishes

Figaro's got new stuff on the menu but they won't be pouring it into a cup.

Locally-owned coffee chain  Figaro launched new dishes this month to satisfy not only the consummate coffee drinker but also those who are looking for a full meal. New items on the menu are: Dory Provençal, a pan-fried cream dory fish-fillet infused in zesty Provençal sauce; Sweet Coffee Porkchops, luscious coffee sauce made of freshly brewed coffee poured over to a savory slice of porkchop; and the Tuscan Chicken, a hearty Italian inspired grilled chicken seasoned with selected herbs and spices topped with Provençal sauce. All dishes come with your choice of pasta (arrabbiata, al tonno, carbonara, classic chorizo or pesto), green salad and a drink (iced tea or iced coffee). For P199 per heaping plate, it's a definite steal.

"We want to introduce new dishes to our customers that are distinctly Figaro in taste. Like our Sweet Coffee Porkchop, we ensure that our freshly brewed House Reserved coffee will be used to create the perfect flavor and color to our porkchop," said Chef Karl Tan of Figaro.
