Las Vegas truly meets Broadway in Kaos (pronounced "chaos"), a theatrical show locally conceptualized but featuring international and Pinoy talents. Named after a white lion that plays a significant part in the show, Kaos is a love story set in medieval and futuristic times, with jaw-dropping acts dotting the storyline.

A prince (Philippine Idol runner-up Gian Magdangal) falls in love with a woman from the future (Canadian Idol contender Martha Joy) and follows her to her realm through a magical mirror. There, he must deal with a scheming adviser (veteran actor Joel Trinidad) and elements beyond his control and knowledge.

Interspersed in the show are adrenaline-pumping acts by international talents such as Spanish master illusionist Enrique Polo and his menagerie of animal performers, including tigers and lions. A pair of acrobats from China deftly performs suspended in the air, supported only by a long stretch of cloth. From Belarus, the Power Duo presents their world-renowned act that mixes gymnastics and hand balancing.

Watch for the five stunt motorcyclists from Spain who cram themselves inside a metal globe-like structure that splits in the middle. Another highlight is the Human Time Machine performers from South America, who dance and leap on a humongous, rotating contraption that they manipulate themselves. The Philippine All-Stars hip-hop dance champions and the Manila Symphony Orchestra add more zing to the glitzy spectacle.

All these play out on the sprawling stage of the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila, which boasts of state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, and the Philippines’ largest Euro LED wall that serves as a 3D backdrop. The theater seats 1,500 people.
