The first FamilyMart in Manila
(SPOT.ph) The Philippines is now home to one of Japan’s largest kombini stores. FamilyMart, which has opened over 20,000 stores since it opened in 1981, opened their first branch in Glorietta 3. It is now looking to open 300 stores in the next five years.
FamilyMart is known for high-quality, fresh merchandise. They offer a variety of food products and everyday staples including newspapers, magazines, tobacco and personal hygiene essentials-the widest selection that the market has ever seen. They have the most inviting convenience-store environment, complete with free Wi-Fi access, clean restrooms, and comfortable dining spaces.
Katsudon, Cha Soba, Sushi Tray, Onigiri Tuna Mayo, and Onigiri Furukake
Aside from the usual products you see in a convenience store they also offer Japanese favorites like a Sushi Plate (P99) which includes four flavors of sushi, Cha Soba (P95) noodles with green tea flavor, Katsudon (P125) and Onigiri Tuna Mayo and Furukake (P95) which will satisfy any Japanese craving.
Pancit Canton and Pancit Malabon in microwaveable containers.
Of course, FamilyMart here also has a touch of Filipino. They offer our favorite Filipino food like Chicken Adobo rice meal (P69), Pancit Malabon (P69), and Pancit Canton (P55).
Fresh donuts, croissants, rolls, cakes, and cookies.
If you don’t want anything heavy, they also sell pastries with prices ranging from P30 to P65 while sandwiches, cheeseburgers, and rolls are available for P55 to P95. For the health conscious, they have fresh salads and fruit cups (P49).
Each of these snacks goes for just P88
Family Mart is open 24/7 and will open three more branches in the next few months at Ayala Avenue MRT Station 3, Exchange Regency in Ortigas, and Glorietta 5.
