Manila Restaurant Buzz: Kasbah shuts down Fort branch
We can always go to Boracay.
(SPOT.ph) Moroccan hub Kasbah announced on their Facebook page yesterday, February 3, that they have closed their second branch at The Fort Strip, Bonifacio Global City. The Boracay staple that put Marrakech flair in the mainstream opened shop in Manila in 2012, impressing with their delicate Moorish decor and roster of unique cuisine.
No reason was cited, but in their lengthy status message, Kasbah thanked their patrons and employees for their almost two-year tenure in the city:
"We have been privileged to serve you, our beloved guests & friends for almost 2 years and we could not have asked for a better support from you all. There are simply too many people to say thank you to. We are grateful to all our staff, partners & network of friends & loyal guests. You have all made the experience rich & unforgettable."
We will miss the frozen black mojitos and the lamb tangine, but see you in Boracay, Kasbah!
