(SPOT.ph) Baked pork buns are all the rage right now. If you’re one who, first, can’t wait in line for a couple of hours, and two, can’t get enough of it, it might be wiser to head to Bonifacio Global City instead. Crystal Jade Dining In allows customers to enjoy as many Bo Lo Buns as they want a-wait for it-Eat-All-You-Can Dim Sum Feast (P688++). The golden-capped, asado-stuffed baked siopao is only one of the many dumplings customers can get their fill of in their weekend buffet. From 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., guests may order some or all of the dishes in a special menu as the chefs prepare them fresh upon request.
Steamed yam dumpling
Steamed vegetarian dumpling with coriander
Traditional bestsellers make up the variety of dim sum: pork and shrimp dumpling with crab roe or siomai, deep-fried shrimp and shredded chicken roll, yam dumplings with scallop, minced pork and mushroom, and the highly requested steamed shrimp dumpling or ha kaw. Several steamed dishes appear on the menu, like pork rib in black bean sauce, chicken feet with special sauce, and glutinous rice with conpoy. The rice rolls are delicate parcels with a variety of fresh fillings from scallop and asparagus, shrimp, and barbecue pork with coriander.
Steamed rice roll with shrimp
Deep-frying is necessary for a truly indulgent meal. Fillings like shrimps, chicken, and mango find themselves tightly wrapped and cooked to an excellent crisp. Still, there’s a vegetarian option made of shredded vegetables and coriander, as well as a steamed version of the popular baked bun.
Custard bun with salted egg yolk
To cap off a belly-busting meal, the baked mini egg tart and addicting steamed custard bun with salted egg yolk make for an extra sweet ending.
Crystal Jade Dining In’s dim sum menu features classic fare people have enjoyed for generations. They’re available ala carte on weekdays, but some things are just best enjoyed without limitations. Groups of six and more also have the option of getting special noodles-of course, unlimited.
