New Branch Alert: 8 Cuts at Power Plant Mall, Makati
The BurgerBar spin-off from the Moment Group sets up shop in Makati.
8 Cuts Burger Blends
Level P1 Power Plant Mall, Rockwell, Makati City
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
(SPOT.ph) There comes a point in your life when a regular quarter-pound patty just won’t do. Burger go-to 8 Cuts Burger Blends has probably reached that point. For their fourth branch (excluding the original Burger Bar) in Power Plant Mall, patties have expanded to a full one-third pound. And yet, double options for both patties are available-just in case your appetite has moved on to a higher level.
It’s the same hip look!
The great thing about 8 Cuts is every new branch gives loyal customers something new to be excited about. Old favorites like the Cheeseburger No. 3 (P195 to P255) and The Piggy (P245 to P298) are still on the menu, but two new signature flavors have been added. The Messy Benny (P220/P33) is a mouthwatering tower of poached egg with hollandaise, your patty of choice, ham, and caramelized onions. Think of it as an Eggs Benedict, but in burger form. The Panchito (P265/P320), on the other hand, stacks pico de gallo, chorizo, scamorza, jalapeño, and avocado, to make a Mexican fiesta in your hand (and mouth).
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel
The weather may be on the chilly side, but Ian Carandang of Sebastian’s Ice Cream gives you delectable reasons to brave the cold. He’s crafted small ice cream sandwiches called Sundae Sliders (P150). Three flavors are currently available-chocolate-peanut butter-pretzel, apple-cookie butter, and banana-candied bacon-peanut butter-but Ian still has something churning up his sleeve. Here’s a tip: warm up with any of 8 Cuts’ signature sandwiches before you end with the ice cream. Either way, you’ll get warm, fuzzy feelings in your stomach.
