CHECK IT OUT: Weekend Buffet at Yakumi, Solaire Resort and Casino
Have your unlimited fill of Japanese cuisine.
Solaire Resort and Casino, 1 Solaire Boulevard, Manila Reclamation Area, Parañaque City
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
(SPOT.ph) Yakumi challenges the lightness of Japanese cuisine with an unlimited assortment of Japanese favorites-tempura, sushi, tonkatsu, teppanyaki, stir-fry, and more-available all weekends of October from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Japanese pride themselves on technique: embellishment is kept at minimum and only to amp up the natural profiles of the ingredients. Despite the fast and massive production, Yakumi stays true to quality. The sashimi, for instance, is sliced fresh to keep those flavors intact. Some of the other items are prepared on the spot to guarantee that what you're getting is the best version of that dish.
At Yakumi, diners can enjoy Black Tiger Praws, US Prime Tenderloin, and Blue Marlin Fillet in unlimited quantities. There's also sukiyaki, Beef Hobayaki made with rib-eye and hoba leaf miso sauce, and Buta Kankuni from braised Berkshire pork belly.
The best kind of Japanese food leaves you full but happy with a light feeling. With the copious amounts you're sure to have at Yakumi, you might feel a little heavier than that-but the happiness will definitely still be there.
Yakumi's Weekend Buffet is priced at P2,200+ per person.
