This situation is kind of like that. But also a little like a beauty contest. At a Zhengzhou hot pot restaurant, willing customers are subjected to a face scanner, which, according to Shanghaiist.com, sends a photo of one’s face to "a council of employees from a plastic surgery clinic."

The top five hottest customers every 30 minutes get their food on the house. The voluntary judgment, of course, is all for the love of a free meal.
