And Sebastian’s newest flavor is...Salted Egg!

Let us clarify: salted duck eggs.

 

(SPOT.ph) Ice cream haven Sebastian’s likes to shock (and entertain) palates with the strangest flavor combinations that owner Ian Carandang somehow makes successful. There’s the now-infamous bagoong-spiked green mango sorbet, the seasonal Bicol Express, the Sapin-sapin, and Cheddar Bacon-all familiar profiles though unconventional in the ice cream realm. The latest to join this interesting bevy of desserts is Salted Egg, which will be available in stores tomorrow, January 29.

 

According to their Facebook announcement, this ice cream is "nothing too complicated." Several dozen salted duck egg yolks and a special ice cream base result in an ice cream that delightfully marries sweet and salty, with that crumbly texture of any good yolk.

 

Sebastian’s has branches at Regis Center, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City; The Podium, Mandaluyong City; SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
