5 Things as Big as This Giant Ferrero Rocher
Not quite the size of a basketball, but we’d eat it.
(SPOT.ph) It’s another one of those "I wish of thought about it" situations. Sugar Hero, a baker/blogger in the U.S., has created what could possibly be the best thing ever-an enormous Ferrero Rocher.
Though it looks like a large replica of the gold-covered hazelnut chocolate, it’s not an exact copy. Sugar Hero’s version is made of cake inside-layers of chocolate cake and chunky chocolate hazelnut mousse. It’s cut into the shape of a ball, then covered with more chocolate and more hazelnuts. Infinite amounts of yum.
You can pretty much make an accurate estimate on how big this beautiful chocolate sculpture based on the photos, but for a clearer picture of the scale of its awesomeness, here are five everyday things that are as big as Sugar Hero’s Ferrero Rocher:
A crystal ball
A large ball of Edam
Our question is: who would create something like this in Metro Manila? Our eyes are on several baking artists. The Baker’s Table has created a name in creating cake versions of local childhood candy that Ferrero Rocher, with its classic hazelnut and chocolate base, shouldn’t be a stretch. Both Max Brenner and Cakes by Miriam peddle Ferrero-Rocher-inspired cakes; they can simply reshape theirs for a more accurate depiction.
