(SPOT.ph) Is it just us or is summer starting out on a sweet note? You might want to forego your go-to Super Taro Ice for Quickly’s latest series of caramel-infused icy drinks. The five flavors from the Caramel Delights line features Quickly’s ability to make the beloved sweet flavor work with coffee, tea, milk, and fruit combinations.

Happy Lemon has also come out with a new flavor that attempts to bring out our inner child. The milk-tea chain has recently launched their famous Rock Salt and Cheese Milk Tea but this time spiked with-Cocoa and Oreo Cookies. It’s kind of like an extreme version of a Milo Dinosaur.

If you’re looking for something to make your summer sizzle, BonChon is catching up on the flavored fried-chicken craze. Hot on the heels of Jollibee’s glazed version and KFC’s tabasco-marinated one, this Korean-themed joint has launched their very own Crunchy Garlic Chicken. It’s painted with a glossy zesty sauce that’s kicked up by bits of toasted garlic. All we need is a cup of rice, and we’re set.

Meanwhile, in the dessert landscape, Chef Jonnathan Em of The Baker’s Table has once again dug into his treasure chest of childhood sweets and converted Melon Ring candy into a summer-friendly cake. A melon-layered sponge cake serves as the base of vanilla marshmallow cream and a sweet deck of melon mousse.
