Starbucks’ Limited Edition Birthday Cake Frappuccino looks good, but you can’t order it
No pink whipped cream for us!
(SPOT.ph) For its 20th birthday, Starbucks has released a limited-edition Frappuccino flavor, the Birthday Cake, available only from March 26 to 30. This, we read on TIME, People.com, Huffington Post, Grubstreet, and many other websites.
It’s a frothy blend of vanilla bean and hazelnut topped with a pink raspberry-infused whipped cream that only needs a toss of sprinkles and a candle to be truly celebratory. Unfortunately, the Birthday Cake Frappuccino is not available in the Philippines.
Starbucks baristas, who are usually very accommodating when it comes to customer requests (remember that Ariana Grande Frappuccino someone randomly ordered?) aside from keeping everyone guessing with their secret menu (such as the Butterbeer, which has to be ordered via a recipe), have told us that the ingredients for this concoction are unavailable locally.
It’s a disappointing revelation, but we’re not ones to mope. We’ll just have actual birthday cake instead.
