Concerned female creates chocolate truffles to fight PMS
It will be available starting April 2.
(SPOT.ph) Let’s conveniently forget for a minute that chocolate has caffeine that could worsen menstrual cramps. Instead, let’s remember the bliss that comes with every carefree bite of chocolate.
That’s what U.S.-based Tania Green did. Through a crowd-funding campaign, she has created PMS Bites, a guilt-free chocolate line designed to alleviate the discomfort of premenstrual syndrome. According to the company’s website, the chocolate truffles (there’s a brownie vibe there, too) are organic, vegan, and gluten-free. They’re also infused with dandelion root, Siberian ginseng, and chamomile-ingredients that alleviate PMS symptoms like stress, mood swings, cramps, and bloating.
Three flavors are currently available: Plain Crazy, Coco-Nutty, and All Kinds of Nuts. A box of PMS Bites will set you back $20, including delivery to a U.S. address. Women may also schedule delivery right before their expected period.
It’s not available for delivery in the Philippines-yet-but how about it, ladies? Would you want chocolate to ease your suffering? Men, you might want to bookmark this, too. In the meantime, read this: 10 Restaurants to Calm Your PMS-ing Girlfriend.
