Heads up: local creamery Carmen’s Best is celebrating their ninth anniversary by offering their ice cream at just P90/scoop (from the usual P150) only for tomorrow, February 1, at their Power Plant Mall and Alabang Town Center stores. The promo is only valid for single scoop or single-serve cups, and each person can get a maximum of four orders—and only until supplies last, so mark those calendars!
The homegrown brand’s story dates back to 2007, during which owner Paco Magsaysay’s father Jun started a dairy farm in Bay, Laguna. Jun enlisted Paco’s help to sell the milk, and by 2009, Paco registered the Carmen’s Best name and came up with different dairy products that included cheese, pastillas, and a year later, ice cream. Inspired by his travels growing up, Paco has since come up with a wide range of flavors that include Salted Caramel, Brazilian Coffee, Butter Pecan, and Malted Milk.
