You Can Get Local Coffee Beans Delivered to Your Home for Less

A portion of the payment goes to a food distribution organization.

( We know, we know: we’re hardly halfway through the enhanced community quarantine in the Metro and you’re already missing your morning cup of joe from your neighborhood café. But you can get a similar experience at home for as long as you've got a coffee maker and good beans. Here's some good news: Commune is offering their Commune Blend—their signature blend of Benguet Arabica and Cavite Robusta beans—at P1,200/kilogram from its original P1,400/kilogram price tag. This deal is only valid until April 14, so catch it while you can!

Orders can be picked up at their shop from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or delivered to your doorstep—they cover Mandaluyong, Pasig, BGC, Pasay, and Makati areas within 2 to 3 business days, or you can book your courier of choice (such as Lalamove) for same-day delivery. The best part is, P200 from each kilogram will be donated to Frontline Feeders Philippines, a group of doctors, restaurant owners, and NGOs that mobilizes food distribution to various hospitals in Manila and in neighboring cities.

Commune is a homegrown cafe that proudly serves Philippine coffee. They’re known for spacious interiors, comfy seats, and uber-Instagrammable 3D foam latte art. It's also one of our favorite places in the Metro for breakfast food served from morning 'til night.

Commune is at 36 Polaris Street, Poblacion, Makati City. For more information, check out Commune's Facebook page.
