Celebrating Filipino Cuisine!

( Last November 15, Town and Country Philippines held its first Fabulous Food Affair at Aracama, Bonifacio Global City. It was all about celebrating Filipino cuisine, as special guests were treated to a feast featuring Butuan crabs, organic baby back ribs from Bacolod’s Faith Farm, bibingka made with heirloom rice from Nueva Ecija, and tarts made with chocolate from Davao, among others. The event was in support of Amy Besa’s Ang Sariling Atin Culinary Heritage Institute, which hopes to rediscover the Filipino palate and go back to basics with the use of traditional Filipino kitchen ingredients and methods to create and uphold heirloom recipes.
