Could Krispy Kreme Be Bringing Back Their BLACKPINK-Themed Doughnuts?

(SPOT.ph) The eyes, social-media feeds, and taste buds of BLINKs were spoiled in 2021 as Krispy Kreme came out with special doughnuts that let them express their love for BLACKPINK. Yup, we're talking about the limited-edition Love Sweet Series that came out on May that year—which had the flavors of chocolate and strawberry and, of course, the black-meets-pink color motif the KPop group is known (and named) for! Well, BLACKPINK stans, there's a good chance you can reunite with the dessert as Krispy Kreme has dropped a teaser hinting at its comeback.

Doughnut shop Krispy Kreme could be bringing back their BLACKPINK-themed doughnuts:

"Ready to love and ready to bite this awesome treat," Krispy Kreme writes in a post on their Facebook page, adding pink and black heart emojis and attaching a photo of the black and pink doughnuts. "Be ready this March 17."

Quick recap: The Love Sweet Series is comprised of two doughnuts, both made with Krispy Kreme's Dark Chocolate Glaze Doughnut as a base and filled with a strawberry "kreme." The Black is dipped in chocolate icing made with Malagos Chocolate and topped with pink sprinkles, while the Pink is dipped in a strawberry chocolate icing and topped with pink sprinkles. With that plus their upcoming Philippine concerts later this month, we definitely can't wait!

Krispy Kreme is an American doughnut franchise that was established in the '30s and came to the Philippines in 2006. They're known for their melt-in-the-mouth fried pastries in an assortment of flavors.
