SPOTTED: This Famous Malaysian Coffee Chain Is Opening in Manila
Looks like OldTown White Coffee is heading our way.
(SPOT.ph) If you've ever been to Malaysia, then you've likely seen at least one branch of OldTown White Coffee—after all, they've got more than 150 stores spread out all over the country. But if you haven't toured Malaysia, then maybe the OldTown brand rings a bell because it's a widely-distributed instant coffee in supermarkets and convenience stores. Whichever the case, you no longer have to fly all the way to Malaysia nor have to stick to 3-in-1 sachets since OldTown is opening its first store in the Philippines in SM City Grand Central, Caloocan.

Malaysia's OldTown coffee shop is opening its first Philippines-based store in Caloocan:
A boardup of OldTown is seen on the third floor of SM City Grand Central, with the words "Get ready for Malaysian Flavors!" printed on it. It also has images of their famous Nasi Lemak, which is the most popular dish in Malaysia, and Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun.
As of writing, there's no confirmed date as to when OldTown is opening in SM City Grand Central. Either way, we're hoping it opens soon—as much as we are collectively experiencing revenge travel, it'd be faster and cheaper to drive to Caloocan for their famous coffee and Malaysian dishes.
