SPOTTED: Elyu-Favorite El Union Is Bringing Their Coffee and More to BGC

(SPOT.ph) Aside from the sun, sand, and sea, La Union has also become known as a foodie destination, with cool places to eat popping up regularly. If you’re an Elyu regular, you know that one of the OGs in the beach is El Union Coffee, best known for their horchata and grilled cheese. But, it seems like the beachside coffee shop is ready to shake things up in Metro Manila as well because spotted at Bonifacio High Street is Del Union, a new coffee and sandwich shop by El Union Coffee.

Get Elyu sandwiches in Metro Manila at Del Union

Based on what we dug up on Del Union’s official Instagram account, they will be serving up sandwiches by Chef EJ Lagman of MAKAN in Eliseos, a bed and breakfast in La Union. Sandwiches are hefty and deli-style: one of the menu contenders as seen on their IG page is a beef sandwich with charred tenderloin, smoked aioli, beet, leeks, ginger, and pickled onions, all on focaccia.

Aside from sandwiches Del Union will also be bringing over El Union’s signature coffee and horchata to BGC. We can’t wait for their tentative opening in December 2023—and we’re crossing our fingers for their grilled cheese to make it on the menu. Watch SPOT.ph for more details coming soon.
