Antipolo's Seisha Coffee Announces Temporary Closure After a Fire
They've been open since 2004.
(SPOT.ph) Seisha Coffee has long been a go-to of those in the Antipolo area for caffeine fixes—and for those inclined, sips of coffee came in between puffs from shisha or hookah, which was what made this coffee shop one-of-a-kind. Following its almost two-decade run since it opened in 2004, the coffee shop has unfortunately temporarily closed its doors following an unfortunate incident.

Here's what you need to know about Seisha Coffee's temporary closure:
In a Facebook post dated February 6, Seisha Coffee announced the unfortunate news that their space caught fire and that they needed to close the shop until further notice. "We are grateful that everyone is safe. However, we must temporarily close our doors until further notice," the coffee shop writes in the post.
The Facebook post came with a photos of the coffee shop, seemingly in the aftermath of the fire. These close-up images look to illustrate the damage done, leaving the coffee machine, coffee cups, the wooden planks surrounding the counter, and the air conditioning unit, among other things, coated in a layer of ash black. A wider-angle shot of the coffee shop shows the impact on the walls and ceiling too.
"We deeply appreciate your outpouring support, understanding, and patience during this challenging time. Rest assured, we will keep you updated on our progress and the anticipated reopening," the post captioned.
All kinds of goodbyes have a tinge of pain in them, be it a coffee shop like Seisha Coffee where you'd turn to for caffeine fixes to tide through deadlines, catch up with friends, or have some precious alone time with a cup of coffee and optionally, shisha. Hopefully, Seisha Coffee will reopen soon, and bounce back stronger from this unfortunate event.
