These Coffee Shops Are Giving Free Antacid With Every Cup

(SPOT.ph) We know a lot of people won't let a little acid reflux get in the way of them and their daily (sometimes multiple) caffeine hit. Raise your hands if you have friends or family who take their cup of joe with a handy sachet of antacid on the side.
In what feels like a thoughtful (and slightly funny) step, a few coffee shops in Metro Manila are giving away a free sachet of antacid as "aftercare" with every cuppa. Don't believe us? Comfort your tummy with a visit to Kalinaw Coffee Co. and Ninety Three Coffee.

These coffee shops are giving away free antacids:
Kalinaw Coffee Co.—with branches in Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig, and more—and Ninety Three Coffee in Angono, Rizal, are giving away a free sachet of Kremil-S Cool Relief with every purchase of coffee at their stores.
Kalinaw Coffee Co. wittingly captioned their Facebook post, "We give out FREE Kremil-S Cool Relief for every coffee purchased as AFTER CARE cause “Okay lang magka-acid reflux, mamaya pa naman yun...”"
The coffee shops stated that these drinkable freebies come thanks to a collaboration with Unilab Philippines, the pharmaceutical company behind the production of Kremil-S Cool Relief. This formula is used to relieve acid reflux and helps with additional stomach protection.
For those unaware, the caffeine in coffee can increase the risk of acid reflux or heartburn, according to Healthline. The common symptoms are discomfort in the stomach and chest (a.k.a. heartburn), regurgitation, or burping.
