(SPOT.ph) If you've ever dined at PARMIGIANO Ristorante Pizzeria, you'd know that it's not the most affordable Italian restaurant option out there—but it is reasonably priced because the cost is at par with the quality. Still, if you want to save up and still sate your Italian food hankerings, good news: the restaurant now has a weekend buffet at their new branch at Gateway Mall 2.

For the first time, PARMIGIANO Ristorante Pizzeria is having a buffet option for their Italian dishes. Called The Great Italian Buffet, this is the restaurant's buffet that happens every Saturday and Sunday, both for lunch (from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). This is exclusively available at their Gateway Mall 2 branch.
The buffet's introductory price is P999 per head plus the service charge, which comes to P1,100 per head. The regular price is P1,250, not including the service charge. You can add P500 if you want to upgrade your buffet with unlimited wine.
The Great Italian Buffet's first run was last May 4 and 5, and it will be extended to coming weekends indefinitely.

The Great Italian Buffet has 13 items on a fixed menu. You can start it off with something light like Caesar Salad, Pumpkin Soup, or a cheese cold-cold cut pairing with the Fantasie Di Formaggi, a traditional variety of Italian cheeses, and the Salumi Misti Italiano, a traditional variety of Italian salami and prosciutto. You can also go with a slice of Pizza Metro (Pesto, Cheese, and Margherita).
For your mains—the heftier protein options, Calamare, Skillet Chicken, Grilled Beef Tenderloin, and Porchetta are included in the buffet. And the carbs to go with your meats, you have the option to get a serving of Bolognese Pasta or you can go the rice route with Paella Negra or plain rice.
The buffet comes with a selection of assorted cakes for your dessert, like Ube, Lemon, and Chocolate. As for the optional unlimited wine, you can go for red or white. You're not restricted to just one which means you're free to switch from red to white as much as you'd like.
