Eat Pizza Is Coming to Manila This Year

(SPOT.ph) Ever had a hankering for pizza you couldn't sate because you knew deep down you wouldn't be able to finish the entire pie? Sure, some pizza places let you order just one slice, but let's face it, who can have just one slice? 

Well, good news for Spotters who love eating pizza alone. Eat Pizza, the Korean single-serve pizza joint taking South Korea and Singapore by storm, is finally making its way to Manila.

Known as the top single-serve pizza chain in Korea, Eat Pizza bakes the classic Italian dish into a 25-cm dough that is solo-diner friendly. Much like with other pizzerias in the market, they've got a wide selection of toppings you can choose from, including pepperoni, ham, pineapples, bacon, and different kinds of cheese like cream cheese and Emmental. They also have a bunch of premium proteins available like turkey bacon, sirloin, and shrimp, making every bite of these solo pizzas filling.

Aside from featuring your usual pizza fare, they also have K-themed menu choices for those looking for an east-meets-west flavor pairing. This includes flavors like the Hot & Spicy Bulgogi, Hot Spicy Chicken, and Sweet Potato with Corn. 

Eat Pizza is great for those looking for a quick meal on the go. Each pizza takes only approximately five minutes to make. You can expect a new freshly baked pizza every 30 seconds. 

In a quick chat with SPOT.ph, Scott Tan, managing director of Scottland Food Corporation (the company bringing Eat Pizza to our shores!) says that the move to bring Eat Pizza to Manila came from the desire to bring the spirit of Korean innovation to the country. “We believe this is the perfect opportunity to bring this unique Korean pizza experience to the Filipino market,” he tells us.

According to Tan, Filipinos need not wait too long. They are expected to open the first Eat Pizza branch in the country around the Third Quarter of 2024. When asked where the first branch would be, Tan teased that we'd soon see Eat Pizza in a mall near us. 

Eat Pizza was launched in 2021 in South Korea. It is the world's first and only authentic Korean pizza brand in the Philippines. It currently has over 110 branches in Singapore and Korea. In addition to the Philippines, it is rapidly expanding to other markets like Thailand and Taiwan.
