Gordon Ramsay Restaurant at Newport World Resorts Opens in August

(SPOT.ph) It wasn't too long ago when we first caught wind of Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant opening in Newport World Resorts. Well, after months of salivating over and dreaming of Ramsay's Beef Wellington and Lobster Risotto, there's finally news of the restaurant's opening, as the kids say, fr fr. 

Heads up: Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill is opening at Newport World Resorts this August. Here's what we know so far about Ramsay's first-ever foray into the Philippine dining scene.

Here's what you need to know about Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in Manila:

Located on the second floor of the Newport Grand Wing, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines at Newport World Resorts will be one of the biggest restaurants in the area. Occupying 400 square meters, the restaurant is estimated to welcome over 100 guests at a time in its swanky dining setup. 

In a statement released to members of the media, Newport World Resorts Chairman Kevin L. Tan says that they have finalized all the details about the opening after meeting with Gordon Ramsay himself in Macao. According to Tan, Chef Ramsay was enthusiastic about opening one of his most sought-after restaurants in Newport World Resorts.

Although the full menu is still kept under wraps, the team at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill promises "an exciting dining experience" showcasing British classics, including Gordon Ramsay’s iconic Beef Wellington, perfectly grilled steaks, fresh market seafood, and a delightful array of sides and desserts. Aside from these, diners can also expect to wash down all the food with high-end wines from around the world, sought-after spirits, and expertly hand-crafted cocktails.

How to book tables at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Newport World Resorts:

Avid fans of the world-famous chef and his food can start booking tables at this swanky new hotspot starting August 20, Tuesday. All you have to do is sign up online through their reservation website. Choose the date of your visit and fill in the details. 

More details about the reservation process are expected to drop on August 20. But as of writing, here are the guidelines for booking seats at Gordon Ramsay:

• For groups of six and above, a reservation fee of P1,000 per person must be paid upon reservation. 
• Upon making a reservation for a private dining room, a 50% deposit of the minimum spend amount is required. 
  
  • The minimum spend for lunch is P3,000 per person or P30,000+ for 10 pax
  • The minimum spend for dinner is P5,000 per person or P50,000+ for 10 pax
• The dress code for Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill is smart casual. Guests wearing swimwear, sportswear, flip-flops, open-toe footwear, or singlets may not be allowed entry.
• A table is deemed a “no-show” if you do not arrive despite repetitive efforts to reach out. For bookings with a deposit, the deposit paid will be forfeited.
• Changes to bookings and reservations must be made 24 hours before the dining schedule.
• Strictly no pets allowed.
• Consumption of personal bottles of wine and drinks is not possible.
