(SPOT.ph) Are you counting down the days until Wicked is screening in local theaters too? Here's something that might amplify that excitement further: Starbucks U.S. has released Wicked-themed drinks and merchandise to celebrate the exciting film adaptation of the Broadway musical—fingers crossed we see them locally soon.

Take a look at the Starbucks U.S. x Wicked collaboration:
In true Wicked fashion, the two Starbucks drinks come in shades of pink and green—inspired by Oz's iconic duo Glinda and Elphaba. The pink drink is called Glinda's Pink Potion, an ice-blended drink with coconut milk and dragonfruit (reminds us of the Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers available locally), then topped with strawberry cold foam and dusted with candy sprinkles. There's also Elphaba's Cold Brew, a green layered caffeinated concoction with peppermint-sweetened cold brew topped with non-dairy matcha cold foam and green candy sprinkles.
They've got Wicked-inspired merchandise there, too—five collections in fact: Glinda's, Elphaba's, Emerald City, Wicked Discovery Series Collection, and another collection that mixes the colors of Glinda (pink) and Elphaba (green). There will also be Wicked-themed cards that are gold- and Emerald City-hued; there's even one with a Grimmerie-inspired casing that can double as a keychain.
Will the Starbucks x Wicked drinks and merchandise be available in the Philippines?
Last November 12, Starbucks Philippines posted a teaser of what we're assuming is Wicked-related—the pink and green colors are quite telling, and, well, there's also a piano cover of "Defying Gravity" (a song from the musical) that accompanied it too. We're willing to bet that the Wicked-themed drinks and some, if not all, of the merchandise will be available in the Philippines too—it's just a matter of when.
So here's to defying all odds that the Wicked-inspired drinks and merchandise will soon be available in the Philippines too. Hopefully, it's launched at the same time, if not before, the film premiers in the country on November 20.
