(SPOT.ph) Since opening in 2016, Mantra Indian Kitchen & Bar has become well-loved as one of the most reliable Indian restaurants in the Metro. And if you love their selection of Indian food, we understand if you're having just as hard of a time as we are when deciding on a dish: Tandoori Chicken? Chicken Tikka Masala? Rogan Josh? We want them all, but if your stomach space (and wallet) do not permit, Mantra's Thali Lunch Sets is the solution.

The two non-vegetarian set options are a protein pairing of Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) (P659) and Mutton Seekh Kebab (P659), and the other is Murg Malai/Chicken Tikka and Rogan Josh. While vegetarians have three options: a combination of Palak Paneer and Makki Kebab (Corn Patties) (P559), Panner Makhani (Butter Panner) with Paneer Tikka (P559), and Roasted Eggplant Mash and Green Pea Tikki (P559). The seafood-focused sets are the Tandoori Mahi-Mahi with Rogan Josh (P759), and the Prawn Curry and Tandoori Fish (P859).

Now that you’ve got all your proteins, it’s now time for the carbs. These lunch sets are all served with a bowl of Dal Tadka (yellow lentils) or Dal Makhani (black lentils)—your choice. All plates also come with Basmati Rice, Lemon, Pickled Onions, Papad (Papadum), your choice of Small Naan or Rotti, and a glass of Signature Iced Tea.

If the budget still permits, please, please, and for extra measure, please, upgrade your iced tea to a Lassi (P125) in either Sweet or Mango. With all the spices that will tickle your tongue, this yogurt drink is the refreshing palate cleanser you'll need. And while this is not part of the lunch sets add-ons, you should try order the Kur Kuri Bhindi (P425) nonetheless. This lovely okra dish is one for the haters; this dish is not slimy at all, just heat and crunch—it's fries but better.
