A restaurant in Manila wrapped Oreos in bacon
It's called Wrap-O-Bacon
(SPOT.ph) Oreos wrapped in bacon aren't a new thing. In fact, just like cookie cups, it started out as a meme—a risky recipe with momentary rewards that you only cook with a particularly daring streak. It's amusing when you see it on the Internet, but it's an entirely different thing when restaurants start handing them out.
If wicked Oreos are too tame for you, challenge yourself with the Wrap-O-Bacon, which—for the love of all things deep-fried and bacon-ey—are deep-fried chocolate and cream cookies wrapped in strips of cured pork. All-day breakfast restaurant Milky & Sunny launched this six-piece bucket of sin (P195) on May 11.
According to their Facebook page, "We feel obliged to give it to you [sunny emoji] so we're calling dibs on this NEW ingenious collaboration between two of our favorite stars: Oreos and Bacon." This warrants a trip to the treadmill for sure. We hope they're as generous in helping us with our hospital bill!
Milky & Sunny is at 9 East Capitol Drive, Kapitolyo, Pasig City.
