Champetre in BGC temporarily shuts down
It's prepping for a bigger comeback.
(SPOT.ph) Chef Marc Aubry has announced via Facebook that he is temporarily drawing the curtains on Champetre Boutique and Restaurant. The shutdown, which begins June 1, will last two to three weeks—enough time for the eatery to freshen up.
In the Facebook post, the chef writes: "We apologize for the inconvenience but we will certainly keep you informed and let you know as soon as the renovation is completed, either by Facebook, text, or e-mail as we eagerly anticipate re-opening our doors for you again soon. We hope to see you back then!"
From it's quiet corner at 26th Street corner 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Champetre offers Manila residents a quaint slice of France. More homey than intimidating, the restaurant is where Chef Marc demonstrates classic French food like duck foie gras terrine, souffles, and steaks. The boutique section is where guests can leave with a little bit of his culinary magic in the form of jams, pates, and sauces.
