Meet the trendiest gelato ever.

( You’ll miss it if you don't pay attention. You'll just go straight down the long stretch of Aguirre, convinced that whatever place you're looking for isn't there. This is usually the case for the many new eating spots popping up all over Parañaque's eat street. Outré is a little different, though. Already a mainstay on everyone’s social media feed, that token Instagram-worthy shot of liquid nitrogen gelato held up against a graffiti-sprayed wall undoubtedly has everyone’s attention.

Don't wear white here.

Ice cream magic

Outré isn’t the first liquid nitrogen ice cream shop to hit Manila. You could even say it’s a little late to the party—but that isn’t an issue. The gelato shop changes their flavors every month, which makes the curious curiouser. This month has everyone enjoying Tiramisu (P150), Green “Something” Crumble (P150), Milo Dinosaur (P150), Berry Jelly Cream (P150), and Salted Caramel Overload (P150).

There are only five flavors on hand, but that's enough to satisfy anyone and everyone. Outré’s gelati are super-loaded and extremely generous, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. The Tiramisu is layered perfection—ladyfingers or broas soaked in espresso and Cointreau, then topped with mascarpone gelato, more broas, another layer of mascarpone gelato, topped off with a heavy dusting of cocoa powder, and garnished with yet another enormous broas stick. Creamy and a tad bit boozy.

Milo Dinosaur

A fast favorite is the Milo Dinosaur. This version of the powdery chocolate malt drink is an instant time warp to carefree childhood afternoons. Outré’s has a chocolate syrup-filled syringe stuck in it, ready for squirting—you know, just in case the Milo Dinosaur flavor wasn’t already chocolatey enough for you.

Green "Something" Crumble

Light and easy, the Green “Something” Crumble is a refreshing break from the indulgent Tiramisu and Milo Dinosaur flavors. The shortbread crunch is the “something” that gives this flavor extra oomph. You’ll want to make sure you get a bit of crumble with every bite of green tea gelato though; it’s what completes the entire experience.

Not a sweet tooth? That’s okay! You can still join in on the indulgent-eating fun with savory bistro-worthy dishes like Prawn Mac and Cheese (P255), a Bleu Burger (P240), Pulled Pork (P200), Truffled Polenta Chips (P150), and more.

Outre is smokin' in every sense of the word.

Outré is a refreshing new addition to the BF Homes neighborhood, and with its ever-changing menu and on-trend dishes, it’s safe to say that this little gelato shop isn’t going to stop keeping up with today’s fast paced, fickle generation.
